- 1 bunch carrots – bag
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar or maple syrup
- Peel, wash and cut carrots, fresh or bagged, to desired size.
- Small pieces work best. Boil until fork tender.
- In a skillet, melt 3-4 tbsp. butter.
- Drain carrots and add to skillet.
- Add granulated brown sugar as desired. Stir together until fully coated.
- Saute in skillet about 5 minutes. Butter and sugar will caramelize and coat the carrots.
