  • 2 cups ice
  • 1 cup strong coffee
  • 3 tablespoons chocolate syrup, plus extra for topping and sides of cup.
  • ΒΌ cup (61 g) whole milk
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon xanthan gum
  • whipped cream, or cool whip for topping


  1. Add ice, espresso, chocolate syrup, milk, and sugar to a blender and puree until smooth.
  2. Pour equally into two tall glasses.
  3. Top each drink with whipped cream and more chocolate syrup.
