Thick creamy sauce that beats any jar.
Parmesan or Asiago cheese
- Mix butter & flour over medium-low heat a minute or two - don't brown In a separate pan bring cream just to a boil & add the butter/flour mixture to thicken.
- Add pepper to taste & garlic, simmer over low heat a few minutes stirring constantly.
- This gets rid of the flour taste. Add the parmesan cheese & stir gently till melted.
- Be careful not to stir in any burned stuff off the bottom of the pan.
